For €20, you cool one person sitting opposite. The PivotAir™ covers a room: a 20 m throw in Boost mode, 180° of oscillation, and two vents that aim separately to handle two zones at once. It replaces the two or three fans you end up buying for the living room, the bedroom and the study. Add that it has no blades to take apart and that it drops to 40 dB, and you are no longer comparing the same object.
Yes. 40 dB on speed 1 is the level of a quiet bedroom. Sleep mode eases the airflow down gradually and the timer switches the unit off after 1, 2, 4, 8 or 12 hours. The best night-time setting: horizontal mode at the foot of the bed, oscillation at 180° — the air sweeps the room instead of blowing continuously at the same spot.
No visible blades doesn’t mean less airflow: the turbine sits inside the base and the air is accelerated as it leaves the vents. In Boost mode the throw reaches 20 m. The 10 speeds are there precisely so you never have to choose between “I can’t feel a thing” and “that’s too much”.
The base is about 75 cm across and the unit weighs 6.45 kg: this is a floor-standing appliance, not something to sit on a table. In upright mode it stands 112–128 cm tall; in horizontal mode it drops to 80–96 cm, over a length of 80 cm. Allow a clear corner — in exchange, one appliance covers what two fans used to.
A washable dust filter, to rinse under clean water once a month and leave to dry completely before putting it back. No blades to remove, no grille to unscrew: everything else is done with a cloth.
