Taking your measurements & choosing your size

Bust (cm)

Tape measure horizontal, under the arms, across the fullest part of the bust, without pulling tight.

Waist & hips (cm)

Waist at the natural hollow; hips at the fullest point, feet together. If you are between two columns, go by whichever measurement is the tightest fit.

Combined sizes (S/M, L/XL…)

These labels cover a range: the product page and the cut (fluid, structured) make the difference. If in doubt, compare against the measurements in cm.

Description

The 6pm walk in winter is a walk in the dark. Your dog wanders off to sniff along the verge, a car comes, and all you can make out is a dark shape ten metres away. A reflective collar isn’t there to look pretty: it is there for the three seconds in which somebody else has to see your dog.

The detail that matters

  • A reflective thread stitched along the full length: it doesn’t peel off the way a glued strip does, and it throws headlight beams back from both sides of the strap.
  • Woven nylon: soft, washable, it doesn’t go stiff after rain and doesn’t rub the fur on the neck.
  • Clip buckle: it opens with one hand, with the lead in the other — the only realistic way to unclip a dog that won’t keep still.
  • Metal D-ring: the lead and the ID tag both attach at the same point.
  • Adjustable length: the collar slides to size and keeps up with a growing puppy.

Choosing the right size

Measure the neck with a tape measure, then check that two fingers fit between the collar and the neck.

  • XS — width 1.5 cm · neck 20 to 30 cm.
  • S — width 2.0 cm · neck 30 to 40 cm.
  • M — width 2.5 cm · neck 35 to 50 cm.
  • L — width 2.5 cm · neck 40 to 60 cm.

Available in blue. Between two sizes, take the larger: the adjustment always makes up the difference downwards, never upwards.
