Description

The Nuage Sofa takes the "bubble" silhouette of designer sofas that sell for several thousand euros: a rounded seat with no hard angles, wrapped entirely in a soft, fleecy knit. You sit down and sink in just the right amount — your back stays supported, your legs fold up naturally. This is the sofa you end up spending the whole evening on.

Comfort that doesn't sag

The difference between a sofa that lasts ten years and one that dips after six months is foam density. The Nuage uses high-density Hypersoft foam35 kg/m³ in the seat, 22 kg/m³ in the back and armrests.

  • 35 kg/m³ in the seat: the zone that takes all your weight. It's the density you find on higher-end sofas — the kind that springs back instead of keeping the imprint.
  • 22 kg/m³ in the back: softer, so your back sinks in and is wrapped rather than pushed away.
  • Seat 42 cm off the floor: the standard height for getting up effortlessly, even after a two-hour film.
  • 118 cm deep: enough to sit cross-legged or stretch out sideways.

Choosing your size

Three formats, same depth and same height — only the width changes. Measure your wall before ordering.

Format Width Depth Height
1 seater — armchair 124 cm 118 cm 78 cm
2 seater — duo 178 cm 118 cm 78 cm
3 seater — family 234 cm 118 cm 78 cm

Seat height: 42 cm across all three formats.

  • 1 seater: bedroom, study, reading corner, or alongside a 3 seater.
  • 2 seater: studios and living rooms up to 20 m². The most requested format.
  • 3 seater: main living room. Three adults seated, or one person stretched out full length.

The Nuage fabric

A tightly woven knit — a fleecy, matt material that doesn't shine under the light. On the Nuage it plays a very specific role: it catches the light differently on every bubble, which is what gives the sofa its depth. A smooth fabric would flatten the shape.

  • Soft to the touch, with no plasticky or shiny synthetic feel.
  • The fleecy texture hides everyday marks far better than a velvet or a plain linen.
  • Care: vacuum with a soft brush, and a barely damp microfibre cloth on stains. No steam cleaning.

Delivered compressed — and that's good news

A 234 cm sofa doesn't fit up a period stairwell. The Nuage is vacuum-compressed and rolled at the factory, which cuts its volume by roughly two thirds.

  1. You receive a compact parcel — it clears standard doorways, hallways and lifts.
  2. You unpack it in the room it's destined for, not in the hallway.
  3. The foam decompresses on its own. Allow 24 to 72 h for the sofa to reach its final volume.

No tools, no screws. There is nothing to assemble: cut the film, unroll it, wait.

12 colours

Ecru · Beige · White · Grey · Black · Navy blue · Blue · Green · Sage green · Terracotta · Mustard · Red.

Screens render colours differently: the actual shades may vary slightly from the photos.

Good to know

  • Frame and foam only — no scatter cushions are included (the ones in the photos are there for styling).
  • The sofa arrives with compression creases in the fabric. They disappear as the foam regains its volume.
  • Indoor use. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which fades all textiles over time.
  • Free delivery. Returns and exchanges within 30 days.

Which size should I choose?

All three sizes share the same depth and the same height — only the width changes. Measure your wall before ordering.

  • 1-seater — 124 cm wide. Bedroom, study, reading corner, or alongside a 3-seater.
  • 2-seater — 178 cm. Studio flats and living rooms up to 20 m². The most popular size.
  • 3-seater — 234 cm. Main living room: three adults sitting, or one person lying full length.

On all three sizes: 118 cm deep, 78 cm high, seat 42 cm off the floor — the standard height for getting up without effort. The 118 cm depth is enough to sit cross-legged or lie across it.

Delivered compressed: what you receive

A 234 cm sofa won’t go up a narrow Victorian stairwell. The Nuage is vacuum-compressed and rolled at the factory, which cuts its volume to roughly a third: you receive a compact parcel that fits through standard doorways, hallways and lifts. Unpack it straight into the room it is going in.

Allow 24 to 72 hours for the foam to decompress and the sofa to reach its final volume. It arrives with compression creases in the fabric: they disappear as the foam regains its shape. Nothing to screw in, no tools — you cut the film, unroll it, and wait.

In the parcel: the frame and the foam. No scatter cushions are included — the ones in the photos are there for styling.

Does it sag over time?

What separates a sofa that lasts ten years from one that sags after six months is foam density. The Nuage uses high-density Hypersoft foam, in two different densities depending on the zone:

  • 35 kg/m³ in the seat — the zone that takes all your weight. That is the density you find on higher-end sofas: it springs back instead of holding the imprint.
  • 22 kg/m³ in the back and arms — softer, so your back is cradled rather than pushed away.

The Fiabelo warranty covers the foam and the frame for 2 years.

The fabric: care, children and pets

The Nuage is covered in a tight-knit weave, a fleecy, matt material that doesn’t shine under the light. Beyond the feel, this texture hides everyday marks far better than velvet or plain linen — no plasticky look, no synthetic sheen where people always sit.

Care: vacuum with a soft brush for everyday upkeep, barely-damp microfibre cloth on marks, without rubbing. No steam cleaning.

Indoor use only: avoid direct, prolonged sunlight, which dulls every textile over time.

Shipping

Orders are picked within 1 to 2 working days, then dispatched. The sofa travels vacuum-compressed and rolled: the parcel fits through standard doorways, hallways and lifts, and is manageable with two people. A tracking link is emailed to you the moment it leaves the warehouse.

Returns & exchanges

30 days to change your mind. The sofa must be in its original condition, free of marks and odours. As it can’t be re-compressed at home, get in touch before sending anything back: we’ll arrange collection and talk you through it.

Warranty

2-year Fiabelo warranty on the frame and the foam. If the sofa hasn’t regained its full volume after 72 hours, or you spot a manufacturing fault on arrival, write to us within 30 days — exchange or refund depending on the case.

Comfort that doesn’t sag

The difference between a sofa that lasts ten years and one that sags after six months comes down to one number: foam density. The Nuage runs to 35 kg/m³ in the seat — the density you find on higher-end sofas — and 22 kg/m³ in the back, softer, so your back is cradled rather than pushed away.

Three sizes, one depth

124, 178 or 234 cm wide depending on the space you have. The depth doesn’t change: 118 cm on all three sizes, enough to sit cross-legged or lie across it, with a seat 42 cm off the floor. The 2-seater is the most popular size — it fits a studio flat just as well as a 20 m² living room.

I had been after this bubble sofa for months, but at €7,000 from the designer it was a no. This one has exactly the same effect in my living room. Everyone asks me where I found it.

  • Julien M. 3 weeks ago

The bit that worried me: getting it up to the 4th floor with no lift. The rolled parcel is easy enough to carry with two people. Unpacked in the living room, fully expanded in two days. Problem solved.

  • Sophie L. 2 weeks ago

The seat is firm without being hard — you don’t sink to the floor like on cheap sofas. After three months of daily use, there is no dip where I always sit.

  • Thomas B. 1 month ago

Took the 3-seater in ecru. At 234 cm I can lie out fully to watch a match. Measure your wall carefully first, it takes up space.

  • Marine D. 2 months ago

Very happy with the sofa, genuinely comfortable and good-looking. I am taking off one star because it took almost 4 days to regain its full shape, when I had been told 48 hours. You just had to be patient.

  • Hugo P. 3 weeks ago

The bouclé is the nice surprise. It is soft, matt, and doesn’t look cheap at all. And with two cats, claw marks don’t show in the texture.

  • Léa F. 1 week ago

Ordered in terracotta. The colour is true to the photos, maybe a shade warmer in real life, which suits me perfectly.

  • Nicolas A. 2 months ago

No assembly — that is what sold me. I cut the film, unroll it, wait. Not one screw, not one instruction sheet.

  • Chloé M. 5 days ago

The 2-seater is exactly the size stated, 178 cm. In my 22 m² studio it fills the living area without overwhelming it. Good compromise.

  • Antoine R. 1 month ago

A 42 cm seat is exactly the right height. My parents, who are 70, get up without using the armrests, unlike on our old low sofa.

  • Inès K. 3 weeks ago

Lovely sofa, very comfortable. One small niggle: straight out of the box there were quite pronounced compression creases in the fabric. They went after a week, but at the time it gave me a fright.

  • Maxime T. 2 weeks ago

Second order. I bought the 3-seater six months ago and added the matching 1-seater armchair. Same bouclé, exactly the same shade.

  • Sarah B. 1 month ago

118 cm deep is huge. I sit cross-legged with my laptop, or lie across it to read. It has become my desk.

  • Pierre-Yves L. 6 weeks ago

Delivered in 3 days, tracking fine, parcel intact. Nothing to fault on the logistics.

  • Amandine C. 2 months ago

Cleaning is easy: a run over with the soft brush attachment once a week and it stays immaculate. I spilled coffee on it and it came off with a damp cloth.

  • Karim S. 4 days ago

The black is genuinely deep, not dark grey. In a light living room it contrasts exactly as I wanted.
